
Collegiate Connect is a peer-support organization dedicated to providing college student support by helping students feel heard, supported, and less alone. Our trained volunteers offer compassionate, nonjudgmental listening through peer listening services in a safe and welcoming environment.
We want to clarify that we are not a therapy or crisis service. Instead, our focus is on offering emotional support, fostering connection, and providing referrals to additional mental wellness resources when needed.
Our mission is to reduce isolation, encourage connection, and assist students in navigating difficult moments through peer support and compassionate listening.

Our Peer Listeners are trained to actively listen, validate emotions, provide encouragement, and connect students with mental wellness resources when appropriate. Common topics college students like to discuss with our peer listening services include stress and burnout, academic pressure, loneliness, text anxiety, relationship difficulties, homesickness, life transitions, and more!

Collegiate Connect does NOT provide therapy, psychiatric services, crisis counseling, emergency intervention, or medical treatment. Students seeking higher levels of support will be referred to professional mental wellness resources, and our Peer Listening services require that any safety concerns be reported to the appropriate authorities.

As a college student, you can receive encouragement, support, or simply a friendly listening ear through our peer listening services, especially when you need it most. These mental wellness resources offer trained volunteer listeners dedicated to helping you.
Feel free to schedule sessions as frequently or infrequently as you like, as our college student support services are designed to meet your needs. Sessions do not require a long-term commitment; if you only need to meet once to discuss a specific issue, that is perfectly fine. We also offer mental wellness resources and peer listening services, so if you'd like to schedule more sessions with the same or a new volunteer, we would love to have you back and support your journey!
